Usually when thieves end up with a show car, what they were really after was the trailer. Anything inside is just a “bonus” to the lowlife scum that do this. Unfortunately when a classic is stolen there is little chance of getting the car back in one piece, but there is always hope. Just such a thing recently happened to Don Hampton’s 1933 Ford Phaeton. His Hampton Blowers’ 24-foot black trailer was stolen from his shop in Downey, CA, with the car inside. Don has issued an online plea for assistance in getting his car back. If you have seen anything, call Don at (562) 803-9484.
